Employee and Family Assistance Program
At Relationary, we provide a multitude of programmes not only for clients, but also for everyday citizens too! EFA stands for Employee and Family Assistance. Like EAP, it is a workplace benefit that provides employees and their families with access to confidential support services for personal and work-related issues. However, EFA services tend to be more comprehensive than traditional EAP services and may include a broader range of resources and support.
Our EFA Services typically include:
Counseling: Employees and their family members can access confidential counseling services at Relationary to address issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and substance abuse.
Referrals: EFA Practitioners can refer EFA service users and their family members to outside professionals or resources, such as therapists, support groups, or legal and financial advisors.
Work-life balance resources: EFAs may offer help to EFA service users to manage work-related stress, improve time management, or balance work and personal responsibilities. This may include resources related to childcare, eldercare, legal issues, financial planning, and more.
Health and wellness resources: Our EFA Practitioners may offer resources and support for employees and their families to improve their physical health and wellbeing. This may include resources related to nutrition, exercise, stress management, and other health-related topics.
Crisis support: EFAs can provide immediate support and resources in the event of a crisis or emergency situation, such as a natural disaster, workplace violence, or a traumatic event.
EFA Services are typically provided by a third-party provider that contracts with the employer to offer the services to employees and their families. EFA Services are usually free of charge for employees and their families, and are designed to be confidential and easily accessible
