Background

I believe that it is only human to ask for help. There is no shame in it. As a professional counsellor, I provide my clients with a safe and compassionate space that is free of judgement for them to express their emotions, explore their thoughts and to empower themselves in new experiences. I believe that in the presence of compassionate professional help, clients gain the opportunity to find themselves anew and become more resilient.
My experience as a counsellor ranges from working with young adult clients struggling with grief and loss issues, depression, anxiety, identity issues, and relationship related issues. Approach

My goal as a counsellor is to gently help my clients arrive at insights that supports them in overcoming deeply personal issues at their own pace and eventually achieve the goals that they have set for themselves. This process involves helping clients become aware of repeating patterns (be it thoughts, emotions and/or behaviours) that may have helped them cope with past issues but is no longer helpful to them in the present. And when the client is ready, I help them adopt healthier coping skills that improves their state of mind and emotional well-being. All of which goes a long way in helping my clients achieve their goals.
