Our assessment is thorough because it needs to be. We combine cognitive testing, behavioural rating scales, and detailed clinical interviews. For children, we gather information from parents and teachers. For adults, we look at your entire developmental history, not just how you function right now.

We assess children from age 6, teenagers, and adults. Adult ADHD is significantly under-recognised in Malaysia, and many of our adult clients come to us after their child is assessed and they recognise themselves in the description.

ADHD Assessment vs ADHD Test: What Is the Difference?
People search for an ADHD test; clinicians deliver an ADHD assessment. The difference matters. A test, in the everyday sense, is usually an online quiz, and no quiz can produce an ADHD diagnosis or rule one out. An assessment is the full clinical process: cognitive testing, validated rating scales, a structured interview, a developmental history, and the systematic exclusion of the conditions that mimic ADHD, such as anxiety, depression and sleep problems.
An ADHD diagnosis in Malaysia, one that schools, universities and employers will act on, comes only from that assessment, conducted by a licensed practitioner. How long does the assessment take?
Typically 2 to 3 sessions totalling 4 to 6 hours of face-to-face time, plus a feedback session. The written report is usually ready within two weeks.
I am an adult. Can I still be assessed?
Absolutely. Many adults discover they have ADHD in their 30s, 40s, or later. We use adult-specific tools and take your full history into account.
Will schools accept your report?
Yes. Our reports follow international standards and are accepted by most Malaysian and international schools for accommodations.
