It is not a behaviour problem.Child ADHD is how their brain is wired.

Once you understand it, everything changes. For them and for you.

Your child is bright. Everyone can see it. But they cannot sit still, they forget instructions within seconds, and their emotions go from zero to ten with no warning. You have tried charts, consequences, rewards, more patience, less patience. Nothing sticks. You might hear from teachers that they need to focus, or from family that they need more discipline. But this is not about effort or willpower. Your child's brain is wired differently, and once you stop fighting that and start working with it, the change is remarkable.

How We Support Children With ADHD

We start with a comprehensive assessment using internationally validated tools. We want to understand your child specifically, not fit them into a generic category. That means cognitive testing, behavioural rating scales, and detailed conversations with you and your child's teachers.

Once we have a clear picture, we build a support plan that works in real life, not just on paper. That includes coaching for you as a parent, because the most effective strategies are the ones used consistently at home. It includes school liaison so your child gets the accommodations they need in the classroom. And it includes direct work with your child, building on their strengths rather than constantly correcting their weaknesses.

If medication is something you are considering, we coordinate with paediatricians and psychiatrists. But we never start there, and we never pressure families in that direction.

    Common questions

What are the signs I should look for?

Difficulty sustaining attention, impulsivity, emotional reactions that seem out of proportion, and trouble with organisation or following multi-step instructions. Girls often present differently, with quieter patterns and fewer obvious signs.

Can it be managed without medication?

Yes. Behavioural support, parent coaching, and school accommodations are effective first-line approaches. Medication decisions are made with a medical professional, and only if you choose to explore that option.

Will a diagnosis limit my child?

The opposite. Children with identified ADHD and proper support consistently do better than those who go undiagnosed. A diagnosis unlocks support. It does not define limits.

Understanding is the first step to helping them thrive.
